Luís Filipe Reis

Luís Reis has been Chief Executive Officer of Zeitreel since 2018, with several decades of experience as an executive and non-executive member of management bodies.
As CEO of Zeitreel, he leads the strategy of the largest Portuguese fashion group, driving the daily growth of its four brands: MO, Salsa Jeans, Zippy and Losan.
With over 30 years in the Sonae Group, he has held various management positions in a wide number of areas, of which we highlight the stints on the Executive Committees of Modelo Continente, Sonaecom, and Sonae Financial, whose executive presidency he assumed in 2015 (and which he maintains to this day).
Currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Porto Business School and BIOPOLIS, he has chaired and served on the boards of numerous associations of which we highlight APED (Portuguese Association of Distribution Companies), WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development), AEP (Business Association of Portugal) and EuroCommerce. He is also a visiting professor at the Faculties of Economics and Engineering of the University of Porto.
He graduated in Medicine at the University of Coimbra and has a Masters and MBA from the Institute of Business Studies at the University of Porto, a PhD in Economics and Business Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and an Executive Program from Stanford University.
Luís is an extreme introvert who enjoys spending time with his family. He is an inveterate gamer and a compulsive reader.

Hugo Martins has been a member of the Zeitreel Executive Committee since 2019, currently ensuring the management of the areas related to Zeitreel’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and management of Salsa. He has almost 20 years of experience in defining and implementing strategy and management, as a consultant and as a member of operational and executive teams.
As CFO of Zeitreel, a position he assumed in 2019, he leads the areas of finance, administration and strategic planning and business control, as well as legal, sustainability and corporate responsibility, real estate and works.
Since 2022 he has also assumed the executive management (COO) of Salsa, focusing on the areas of Product, Brand and Digital, a company where in 2019 he had also assumed the position of Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
Part of the Sonae Group since 2011, he led strategic planning themes, mergers & acquisitions, and business development and digital incubation in the Group’s specialised retail areas.
He has a degree in Management from Universidade Católica do Porto and an MBA from INSEAD.
Hugo is an optimist by nature, a proud geek (an unconditional fan of Star Wars) and an inveterate foodie.

Francisco Sousa Pimentel

Francisco Sousa Pimentel

Member of Zeitreel’s Executive Committee since 2016, Francisco Sousa Pimentel takes over as Chief Operating Officer of MO. He has over 20 years of international experience in commercial and financial areas in Europe, Latin America and Africa.
As COO of MO, he works daily to affirm the brand in the top 3 of fashion retailers in Portugal, while building a relevant European business of category management textile for food operators.
Before joining the Sonae group in 2013 as International Development Director of Sonae SR, he developed most of his career between the Lisbon, Madrid and São Paulo offices of McKinsey & Company, as Associate Partner, having also short stints in Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank and in Asset Management at FUTOP.
He holds a degree in Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto, an MBA from Harvard Business School and an Executive Program from Stanford University.
Francisco enjoys getting involved in supporting academic institutions and start-ups, being a wine curious, a fan of the peace that diving brings, and a proud father of 4 boys.

Joana Ribeiro da Silva

Joana Ribeiro da Silva has been a member of Zeitreel’s Executive Committee since 2014 and takes over the management of the children’s fashion brands, being Chief Operating Officer of Zippy/Losan.
As COO of Zippy/Losan, Joana works daily to build a sustainable and internationally relevant children’s fashion operator, leveraging on the distinct positioning of the two brands.
With over 25 years of experience in brand and product management in the Sonae Group, she has passed through several businesses, such as Banco Universo and Optimus (now NOS), and for the last 10 years she has been connected to Sonae’s fashion brands.
With a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, she completed an MBA at the Higher Institute of Business Studies of the University of Porto in 2020 (currently Porto Business School), and attended different Programmes for Executives at IESE and IMD.
Restless and curious, she always has something to do and it is difficult to sit on a sofa. Painting and writing are her two great passions, to which she resorts whenever possible, and it is in her family that she finds her balance.

Teresa Castro has been a member of Zeitreel’s Executive Committee since 2018 with responsibility for the Supply Chain area. She has nearly 30 years of experience in logistics chain management and international business expansion.
As Head of Supply Chain at Zeitreel, he develops, optimises and supervises the company’s areas responsible for the product journey, including the four international purchasing centres (Bangladesh, China, India and Pakistan) and the logistics operation (at the 55,000m2 Centre in Azambuja).
With over 25 years of experience in the Sonae Group, she has held various positions, including Logistics Director at Sonae Indústria, Commercial Director at Sport Zone, Supply Chain Director at Sonae Distribuição and Responsible for International Development at Sonae SR.
With a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Coimbra and an MBA from Porto Business School, in 2013 she also embraced the challenge of sharing her know-how and started collaborating with the institution as a Professor of International Development.
Teresa likes to leave her mark by investing in the development of her teams, loves to travel and enjoy a good wine in the company of family and friends. She is an accomplished mother of three.

Maria Belen Alsina

People & Talent Director
Maria Belen Alsina joined Zeitreel in 2017 as member of the Executive Board and Director of People & Talent, a position she has held since then.
As director of People & Talent, Maria manages and develops the company’s areas related to the acquisition and retention of talent from the four brands and the transversal services, employee training, occupational health and safety and business analytics.
With almost 20 years of experience in people management and retail operations, Maria’s career includes stints at some of the leading companies in the HR sector, as well as 11 years’ experience at Inditex Group, where she was Senior International Human Resources Director, and held multiple positions across the European continent.
She holds a degree in Business Administration from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, completed an Executive Education program at ESADE and an Executive Gender Diversity program at INSEAD.
Maria is an education enthusiast and passionate about learning more. In her spare time she swims and is a team player, whether at work, with friends or at home where she is a devoted mother to her two children.

Adam Kakembo

Adam Kakembo
Adam Kakembo is a member of the advisory board of Digital SAAS Business Digiphy and Zeitreel.
Prior to that, Adam was the Global Product and Marketing Director for AESOP, a global vegan, eco-friendly, skin care brand from B-Corp, owned by Natura & Co.
Previously, he held leadership roles at Timberland, Levi Strauss & Co, VF Corp, and Scotch & Soda.

Eric Lejeune

Eric Lejeune
Eric Lejeune is a Senior Advisor at EY-Parthenon. He was also Senior Vice President Sales at Swaroski, Senior Vice President of International at True Religion, Worldwide Commercial Director at Benetton, and Vice President of Global Men’s Initiatives at Levi Strauss & Co.
He’s a part of Zeitreel’s Advisory Board, where he shares his expertise in value creation and business transformation in the fashion, luxury and retail sectors.

Luiz Gonzaga

Luiz Gonzaga
Luis Gonzaga is Senior Vice President Global Sourcing & Production at Hugo Boss, German luxury fashion brand, AG and Vice President Supply Chain at GUESS EU SAGL.
Luis previously worked at Zara as Far East Sourcing & Purchasing Manager, at Esprit as Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain and at GUESS SAGL as Vice President of Supply Chain. Luis is also a member of the Advisory Board of Zeitreel.

Marco Agnolin

Marco Agnolin
Marco Agnolin is the CEO and founder of A Better Mistake, a digital high-end young fashion brand focused on sustainable production, where he’s responsible for brand value development, product improvement and change management.
He has previously held the position of CEO at the Diesel Group, Bershka Spain and Inditex Italy. Marco has also worked at Fila Group and Stefanel Group as Retail Director. He’s also part of Zeitreel’s Advisory Board.

Sara Diez

Sara Diez
Sara Diez works at Zalando, the biggest fashion marketplace in Europe, where she holds the position of Vice President of the women’s category and private labels, and where she is the sponsor of sustainability and D&I.
She has worked several years at Zara as Head of Buying in different areas and at NIKE EMEA as Senior Director in Nike DTC, leading the sportswear and running categories as well as the women and kid’s business. She’s also part of Zeitreel’s Advisory Board.
